- You can brave the Nolichucky River on your own from the Chestoa Recreation Area access point if you have your own raft or kayak, or go on a guided whitewater rafting adventure with USA Raft, Blue Ridge Paddling or Wahoo’s.
- Recently a new access point to the Nolichucky River has been added below the Devil’s Looking Glass off of HWY 81S / SR107.
- For those wanting a more relaxing pace, tubing is also available in the lower portion of the Nolichucky where the current is slower.
